THE FLATS - James Clark came to Tech as one of the nation's top 50 golfers in the class of 2014 and among the top 100 for all classes. He was ranked No. 66 in the Golfweek junior rankings and No. 75 in the Junior Golf Scoreboard for all juniors. In the class of 2014, he was No. 37 in Golfweek and No. 41 in the Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Clark was a second-team Rolex Junior All-American in 2012 and a member of five consecutive class A state championship teams from 2010 through 2014 at Brookstone High School in Columbus, Ga.

Clark started two fall events as a member of Tech's travel team, tying for 23rd in his collegiate debut at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup, and tying for 34th at the Jerry Pate National. He also tied for 25th competing as an individual at the U.S. Collegiate Championship.
