MATCH INFORMATION – All ACC matches are played with AD scoring and doubles matches are played to eight instead of six.

TEAM UPDATES – Georgia Tech (9-4, 2-1 ACC) is ranked in this week’s Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings following a 5-2 home-court loss to No. 24 Florida State last Sunday. Tech has won its first two ACC matches at No. 56 Clemson and Miami. Boston College is 4-7 overall and 0-2 in the ACC following road losses at Virginia Tech and Notre Dame to open its conference slate last weekend. The Fighting Irish (8-6 overall, 1-2 ACC) opened their ACC slate with road losses at Virginia Tech and Louisville before beating the Eagles last weekend.

Tech has never lost to Boston College (10-0), and Notre Dame won the only previous meeting between the Jackets and Irish last year in Atlanta.

SINGLES UPDATE – Tech’s top two players in the lineup are ranked in the ITA top 100 in singles – freshman Christopher Eubanks (Atlanta, Ga.) is No. 66 with a 11-5 spring record, including a pair of wins over top 20 foes, and junior Nathan Rakitt (Marietta, Ga.) is No. 84 with a 4-8 spring mark. Eubanks has played No. 1 and Rakitt No. 2 in Tech’s last three matches. Sophomores Carlos Benito (Madrid, Spain) and Cole Fiegel (Alachua, Fla.) have been Tech’s strongest players early in the spring. Benito is 13-2 this spring, playing at least one match at every position in the lineup except No. 1, while Fiegel is 13-3 playing 4, 5 and 6, including a win at No. 4 against Florida State. Freshman Michael Kay (Alpharetta, Ga.) is 5-6 in dual matches, playing 4 and 5 in conference matches, and senior Eduardo Segura (Madrid, Spain) remains the Yellow Jackets’ winningest player in singles overall this year (23-8). He picked up one of Tech’s two singles wins against Florida State.

DOUBLES UPDATE – Tech has won the doubles point in 10 of 13 matches this spring. No. 1 team Benito and Segura are 8-3 in their dual-match decisions this spring and stand No. 59 nationally in the ITA rankings.
