Jackets Head To NCAA East Regionals
Eleven Tech athletes will compete at the meet in nine different events
In 2010-11: Indoor: Finished 2nd at the Kentucky Track & Field Invitational (1/15) with a height of 5.05 meters... Placed 6th at the Kentucky Rod McCravy Memorial (1/28) while posting a height of 4.75m... Posted a height of 5.02m at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (2/04) to finish 8th... Earned a season-best height of 5.11 meters to place 6th in the ACC Indoor Championships (2/24). Outdoor: Posted a height of 4.95 meters in the Georgia Intercollegiate Invitational (3/18) to earn first place... Earned 2nd place with a height of 4.75m at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/25)... Vaulted a height of 5.05 meters to finish 2nd at the Auburn Tiger Classic (4/01)... Placed 3rd in the FSU Seminole Invitational (4/08) with a height of 5.05m.
In 2009-10: Indoor: Earned a first-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.75 meters at the Roaring Tiger (12/4) ... Placed second in the pole vault at the Clemson Invitational (1/8), vaulting 4.40 meters ... At the ACC Championships (2/25), tied season-best mark at 4.75 meters, good for 11th place. Outdoor: At the Georgia/Georgia Tech Dual Meet (3/19), finished third in the pole vault with a height of 4.60 meters ... Finished in 11th at the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/15) after posting a height of 4.65 meters in the pole vault ... Finished second with 4.55 meters in the pole vault at the GT/Clemson/KSU Double Dual Meet in Atlanta (5/1) ... Tied for fourth place in the pole vault at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/14) with a height of 4.60 meters.
