Track Opens Outdoor Season At Alabama Relays

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech track and field team opens its outdoor season Friday and Saturday at the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Action begins Friday at 11:05 a.m. CT with the heptathlon and Saturday’s competition begins at 2 p.m. CT with the women’s 4×110-meter relay.

Almost 60 individual Yellow Jackets are set to compete in 25 events throughout the course of the two-day meet.

The team’s most recent action came on March 1st at the ACC Indoor Championship. Four Yellow Jackets earned All-ACC honors in Brandon Lasater (1st, 800), Julienne McKee (2nd, long jump), Broderick Snoddy (3rd, 60m) and Nikita Kirillov (3rd, pole vault).
