THE FLATS --
The Georgia Tech track and field team is ready to compete in the two-day Duke Twilight in Durham, N.C. for its last meet before the ACC Outdoor Championships set for May 14-16 in Tallahassee, Fla.

The Duke Twilight begins Wednesday and runs until Thursday evening. Thirty-three Yellow Jackets are scheduled to compete in 17 events, beginning Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the women's long jump. Saturday's action continues for Georgia Tech at 6 p.m. with the women's high jump.

The Jackets last competed April 23-25 at the Penn Relays where the men's 4x800 meter relay team won the event, and the women's team set a school record and won the college division.

Andres LittigJeremy GreenwaldZack Fanelty and Brandon Lasater won the 4x800-meter relay Championship of America Invitational. The quartet ran a season-best time of 7:18.84 to cross the line first.


 

 

The women's 4x800-meter relay team of Morgan JacksonSamantha KiblingerChristina Pensock and Haley Anderson broke their own school record they set earlier this season. The team crossed the line first in the college division in a time of 8:49.20 to beat their previous record of 8:51.46 set at the Florida Relays.
