In 2001-02: Emerged as Tech's top distance runner, posting the team's best times in the indoor 3000 and 5000, as well as the outdoor 5000 and 10,000 meters...During the indoor season, logged career-best times in the 3000 (8:26.18) at the Rod McCravy Memorial and the 5000 (14:50.06) at the Tar Heel Elite Invitational, where he placed first...Placed 10th in the 3000 and 13th in the 5000 at the ACC Indoor Championships...Posted career-best times in the 5000 (14:32.55) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational and 10,000 (31:22.36) at the ACC Outdoor Championships during the outdoor season...Finished seventh in the 10,000 at the conference championships...Also placed first in the 5000 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.

In 2000-01: Had a solid rookie campaign for the Jackets, posting the team's top outdoor time in the 3000 meters...Ran 8:38.35 at the Jesse Owens Classic to finish fifth...Placed 16th at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 meters, finishing in 32:50.78...Season-best performance in the 5000 came at the Alabama Relays with a time of 15:10.96...Did not compete during the indoor season.
