2001-02: Appeared in 24 games for the Yellow Jackets during the 2002 season, starting eight of those contests • Began the year as a reserve for Tech and was pressed into the starting point guard role after injuries to Nina Bärlin and Alex Stewart • Performed very well in her first significant outing at Florida State as she entered the game following Bärlin’s injury and scored 11 points, all from the free throw line to help lead Tech to the key road win • Scored in double figures in four games during the year, including a career-best 14 points in the Jackets’ season finale against Morris Brown • Currently holds a 4.0-point scoring average in 13.0 minutes of playing time on the year.
Prep: A four-year letterwinner in basketball •Scored more than 1,500 points at Wodward Academy and North Clayton High School •Averaged 25 points, seven rebounds, four steals and four assists per game as a senior • Earned USA Today honorable mention All-America honors in 2001 • Named to the Class 4A All-State second team as a senior • One of 12 players in Georgia selected to play in the National Olympic Tournament prior to her senior year • Earned first-team Class 3A All-State honors and was the South Fulton Player of the Year in 2000 • A member of the 2000 Terrific Ten •Also earned one varsity letter in softball • Was a member of the Spanish Club, Science Club, Beta Club, Magic Club and Math Team • Helped her math team reach the state championships and record the best year in school history.
