Blog: Vuckovic Participates in #GT2DR
Vuckovic joins fellow Yellow Jackets on service trip to the Dominican Republic
Check out a slide show from the trip featuring Katarina and former Yellow Jacket Shayla Bivins!
Katrina's Recap of the trip:
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to spend the past 5 days in the Dominican Republic with my fellow GT student-athletes! Still can't believe we've built a house in 2.5 days! Had so much fun getting to know the Dominican community. They have taught us how you can be happy without having anything and to appreciate all the things you have in life. This was an amazing experience I will never forget!#GT2DR
On Sunday, Katarina Vuckovic of the Georgia Tech women's basketball team embarked on a service trip with her fellow student-athletes to the Dominican Republic. Vuckovic, a native of Smederevo, Serbia, just completed her second season on the Flats. She will document her experience on the service trip here on RamblinWreck.com. Also joining her on the trip is former women's basketball player Shayla Bivins.
Vuckovic sat down with RamblinWreck.com to answer a few questions before she left of the Dominican Republic.
