Five current Yellow Jackets have met Kennesaw State in their Tech career as the in-state foes faced off two seasons ago in McCamish Pavilion. The Yellow Jackets hosted the Owls on Nov. 19, 2014 and captured the Owls, 77-48. Simina Avram, Zaire O'Neil, Antonia Peresson, Imani Tilford and Katarina Vuckovic each saw action in the contest. O'Neil was one of four Yellow Jackets to post double-figures in the contest, scoring 14 to go along with five rebounds. Tech shot 46.4 percent (32-69) from the field and won the rebounding battle, 48-30.

Georgia Tech remains undefeated on the young season, owning a 2-0 record after bypassing Alabama State on Sunday with a 70-48 triumph. Redshirt junior Elo Edeferioka exploded in the matinee, dropping 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 26 minutes. The game marked just her second game as a Yellow Jacket.

A familiar face will welcome Georgia Tech Wednesday night as former Tech women's basketball head coach Agnus Berenato was hired as the head coach at Kennesaw State in March. Berenato spent 15 years at the helm of the Georgia Tech program and accumulated 223 wins. She led the Yellow Jackets to their first postseason berth in 1992, capturing the WNIT. The following year, Tech made it's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.
