As a Junior (2011): Appeared in 39 games starting 35 of them ... Finished the year with a .316 batting average and 30 hits on the year ... Netted two doubles, a triple and 12 home runs for a .737 slugging percentage ... Didn't have an error in the field in 23 chances ... Went 3-for-4 against Evansville (March 4) with two runs scored, four RBIs and two homeruns ... Had two-six game hit streaks on the season, one from March 15-March 22 and another from April 2 to April 13 ... Went 3-for-5 at Virginia Tech (April 9) with a homer and two RBIs ... Went 2-for-2 against Florida State (May 7) driving in a run.
As a Freshman (2009): Played in 54 games, making 51 starts mostly in right field ... Batted .190 with 13 runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and seven RBI ... Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and threw out two base runners from right field ... Hit first career home run, a solo shot, against Oregon State (Feb. 22) ... Also went deep in the NCAA Regional Final game against Boston University (May 17) ... Had six multi-hit games ... Went 2-for-2 with a walk and two RBI against Toledo (March 7).
High School: Four-year letterwinner for coach Scott Kelly ... Helped lead team senior year to the 5A State title while batting .369 with eight home runs and 49 RBI ... Also part of regional championship teams in 2006 and 2007 ... Two-time all-county, all-region and all-state member ... Named the team's Best Offensive Player in 2006 and 2007 and is a four-time Lassiter Scholar Athlete ... Played in the North-South All-Star Game ... Holds school record for hitting three home runs in a game and was on the honor roll for all four years ... Also set school's single-season triples record with 15 Helped to lead the East Cobb Bullets Gold summer team to two ASA Nationals top 10 finishes.
Personal: Born Jessica Leigh Sinclair on April 27, 1990, in Mahopac, N.Y. ... Parents are Ken and Dara Sinclair ... Has a younger brother, K.J., as well as two younger sisters, Kelly and Maggie ... Father played professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, while great grandfather, David, played professional soccer in New York ... Grandfather, Ken, is a distinguished artist and his landscape paintings are on display in the New York area ... Is currently an undeclared major.
