As a Freshman (2001): One of the Jackets top power hitters, as she made 43 starts and saw action in 47 games as a rookie ... Tied for the team lead with five home runs ... Also added 26 hits, which ranked sixth on the team ... Led the Yellow Jackets with 19 runs batted in and ranked second with a .398 slugging percentage ... Also Tech's top fielding catcher, making just two errors and ending the season with a .986 fielding percentage, which ranked fourth on the team ... Proved to be a patient batter, tying for the team lead with 16 walks ... Posted six multi-hit games, with her top performances coming the Georgia State Tournament ... In Tech's wins over Campbell and Georgia State, she went a combined 5-for-6 with eight RBI and five runs scored ... She hit home runs in each of her first two at-bats in the Campbell game ...
