#GTSB In The Dugout: is a Q&A series looking at the 2015 Georgia Tech softball team. Each weekday leading up to the beginning of the softball season on Feb. 6, a new #GTSB player will be released giving @GaTechSoftball fans a chance to get to know their favorite players.

This edition of #GTSB In The Dugout features sophomore outfielder Samantha Pierannunzi.

Name: Samantha Pierannunzi
Hometown: Suwanee, Ga.
High School: Peachtree Ridge HS
Major: Business Administration

My nickname is: “Samammoth” -> my roommates make fun of how big I am and slow I move.

Most people don’t know this about me, but: Taught myself to play guitar/ukulele.

The app I use the most is: SnapChat.

On Twitter, my favorite person to follow is: @CuteEmergency.

I can’t imagine going a week without: Listening to music.

I have to admit, I’m really good at: Painting/crafting.

I chose Georgia Tech because: I fell in love with Tech as a kid when my dad would bring my brothers and I to football games, so when I had the opportunity to come here, I couldn’t turn it down.

If I was stranded on a desert island, I’d bring: 1. Krispy Kreme  2. Guitar  3. Sunscreen

Three words to describe me are: Tall, loyal, crazy.
