2013 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Doubles Champion
Summer: Teamed up with doubles partner Megan Kurey in the summer to win the doubles title at the 2013 ITA National Collegiate Summer Circuit Championships at Indiana University ... The championship win gave the duo an automatic bid into the doubles main draw of the ITA Women's All-American Championships at the end of September.
2012-13: Finished the season with a 20-16 overall singles record and a 12-11 mark in singles action playing at the No. 3 and 4 positions ... Her 20 wins were the second-most on the team ... Recorded an overall 24-9 record in doubles while going 20-3 in dual matches ... Went 14-3 at the No. 1 spot and 6-0 at the No. 2 position with doubles partner Kendal Woodard ... The pair finished the season ranked at #60 and was as high as #56 on April 23 ... Defeated one nationally ranked player in singles action and two ranked opponents in doubles ... Recorded a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win against #72 Francesca Segarelli of Florida State ... Along with partner Woodard, defeated #43 Stephanie Wagner and Lina Lileikite of Miami, 8-5, and #85 Erin Vierra and Stephanie Nauta, 8-6 ... Father played tennis at West Virginia from 1984-88 and grandfather, Joseph Kurey, played tennis at Bethany College... Chose Georgia Tech because of the great education, the tennis program and the proximity to home... Started playing tennis at about age seven with her father... Plans to major in management.
