McAdoo Wins Singles Match on Final Day of Invite

ATLANTA - Freshman Rasheeda McAdoo won her final singles match this afternoon to register a 3-0 singles record during the Georgia State Invitational this weekend at Piedmont Park. The Yellow Jackets faced LSU in singles on its final day of the tournament.
McAdoo blanked Skylar Holloway 6-0 in set one and defeated her opponent, 6-1, in set two.
Against Noel Scott, #67 sophomore Kendal Woodard fell in two sets, 6-4, 6-3.
Sophomore Natasha Prokhnevska also lost her singles match to Ella Taylor, 6-4, 6-4.
Freshman Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer suffered a 6-4 loss in set one to Gabriel Otero. Otero led in set two, 4-1, before the match was retired.
Senior Muriel Wacker was edged by Abby Owens, 7-6 (7-5) in set one and was defeated, 6-2, in set two.
Overall, the Yellow Jackets recorded an 8-8 singles record and a 4-3 record in doubles at the Georgia State Invitational this weekend.
