Georgia Tech Signing Class Ranked No. 7

Jan. 30, 2013

THE FLATS - Head Coach Rodney Harmon's initial signing class at the helm of the Georgia Tech women's tennis team was ranked No. 7 nationally by tennisrecruiting.net.

Harmon and assistant coach Alison Silverio inked Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer and Rasheeda McAdoo to National Letters of Intent in November.

McAdoo is considered a blue-chip recruit by the site and ranked as the No. 5 player nationally. The Boca Raton, Fla., native went 38-13 in 2012, including an impressive 21-5 mark against fellow blue-chip prospects and five-star ranked prospects.

Anton-Ohlmeyer is a five-star recruit from Aliso Viejo, Calif., and ranked the No. 27 player nationally. She posted a 40-21 overall record in 2012, with 35 of those wins coming against four- or five-star ranked recruits and blue-chip prospects.

Fans are encouraged to follow Georgia Tech women's tennis on Twitter, @GT_WTEN, and like the Yellow Jackets on Facebook, GTWomensTennis, for an inside look at the program.
