THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s incoming recruiting class has been ranked the sixth-best in the nation according to tennisrecruiting.net’s Top 25 Spring Recruiting Class rankings announced Monday.
The Jackets inked three signees in April including Valeriya Deminova, Baijing Lin and Dalila Said. Both Lin and Deminova are top-100 ITF junior recruits.

UCLA tops the rankings, followed by Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC and LSU. The Jackets earned the ACC’s highest ranking in the poll while Virginia came in at No. 13, Wake Forest at No. 20, Duke at No. 22 and North Carolina rounded out the ACC schools at No. 24.
The Tennis Recruiting Network’s rankings were decided from a panel of media members, junior tennis executives, tournament directors, referees and ranking chairmen.
Georgia Tech capped an incredible 2017-18 season with a run to the NCAA Tournament semifinals after posting a 25-6 overall record and rose as high as No. 2 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings.
