Yellow Jacket Tennis Set To Finish Fall At Midwest Blast
Georgia Tech will face host Illinois, Purdue and Wake Forest

THE FLATS - The Georgia Tech women's tennis team will complete its fall schedule at the Midwest Blast hosted by the University of Illinois this weekend at the Atkins Tennis Center in Champaign-Urbana, Ill.
Along with the Yellow Jackets and host Fighting Illini, the Purdue Boilermakers and Wake Forest Demon Deacons will also compete.
Tech will face Purdue in doubles at 9 a.m. CT Friday to begin the tournament. The Jackets will take on Wake Forest in doubles Friday afternoon before capping the day against Illinois in singles at 6 p.m. CT.
The Yellow Jackets will face Illinois in doubles to begin Saturday at 9 a.m. CT and will play Purdue in singles following. Tech will finish the weekend by facing Wake Forest in singles at 8 a.m. CT Sunday.
Senior Elizabeth Kilborn and freshman Kendal Woodard have led the Yellow Jackets at the top of the lineup this fall. Kilborn, ranked No. 94, boasts a 5-3 singles mark including a pair of wins over ranked opponents while Woodard is 6-3.
In doubles action, the duo is 4-2 overall with an 8-6 win over USF's 24th-ranked team of Ecaterina Vasenina and Loreto Alonso.
