Tech Track Heads To World Famous Penn Relays
The meet will be held at Franklin Field in Philadelphia
In 2010-11: Indoor: Finished in 19th place at the Kentucky Track & Field Invitational (1/14) in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:29.08...Took 18th place at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/11) in the mile run with a time of 5:10.08...Came across the line 11th in the 4000 distance medley relay at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/24) with a time of 12:19.07 and 18th in the mile run (5:02.26). Outdoor: Earned first place in the 4x8 at the Georgia Intercollegiate Invitational (3/18) with a time of 9:21.43 and also seventh place in the 1500 meter race (4:43.68) and eighth place in the 4x4 (4:14.95)...Finished in sixth place in the 1500 meter race at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/25) with a time of 4:48.73 and 11th place in the 800 meter race (2:26.34)...Crossed the line eighth at the Auburn Tiger Classic (4/1) in the 1500 meter run (4:43.09)...Earned fifth place at the FSU Seminole Invitational (4/8) in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:39.48...Posted a time of 12:22.78 to place 13th in the 4000 distance medley relay at the Penn Relays...Finished 10th in the 1500 meter run at the uNF Osprey Invitational (5/13) with a time of 4:48.84.
In 2009-10: Indoor: Finished in eighth place in the 5000 meters with a time of 20:36.76 at the Clemson Invitational (1/8-9) ... A time of 11:00.57 in the 3000 meters was good for 21st place at the Rod McCravy Invitational (1/29-30) ... At the VT Elite Invitational (2/5), finished in 23rd in the one mile with a time of 5:35.41 ... Improved one mile time to 5:22.47 to finish in 19th place at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/12-13) ... Ran a time of 2:29.29 in the 800 meter run to finish 17th at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/26) ... Posted a time of 4:58.48 to place 13th in the 1500 meter at the Tiger Track Classic in Clemson (4/2) ... Finished 27th in the 1500 meter at the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/15) with a time of 5:10.40 ... Finished fourth in the 1500 meter with a time of 5:07.32 at the Georgia Tech-Clemson-KSU Double Dual Meet (5/1) ... In 2008-09: Outdoor: Took part in the outdoor season for the Yellow Jackets, competing in long distance events ... ran the 1500m in 5:02.50 in her first collegiate meet, which was good enough for a 16th place finish ... also took part in the 800m run at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic, finishing in 2:25.93.
