Tech Track To Kick Off Indoor Season At Orange and Purple Winter Classic
The meet will run from 11 a.m. to approximately 5:15 p.m.
In 2010-11: Indoor: Finished in eighth place in the 500 meter run at the Clemson Invitational (1/7) with a time of 1:21.68...Took 13th place in the 800 meter run at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (2/4) with a time of 2:21.96...Earned 13th place as well in the 1000 meter run at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/11) with a time of 3:07.97...At the ACC Indoor Championships (2/24), crossed the line 11th in 12:19.07 in the 4000 distance medley relay. Outdoor: Finished first in the 4x8 at the Georgia Intercollegiate Invitational (3/18) with a time of 9:21.43 and second in the 800 meter run (2:15.78)...Took sixth place in the 800 meter run at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/25) with a time of 2:18.93...Earned fifth place at the Auburn Tiger Classic (4/1) in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.41 and eighth place in the 4x4 (3:54.08)...Took fourth place in the 800 meter run at the FSU Seminole Invitational (4/8) with a time of 2:13.38....Earned ninth place in the 4x4 at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (4/21) with a time of 3:49.45...Finished in fifth place at the UNF Osprey Invitational (5/13) in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:12.57.
In 2009-10: Indoor: 4x400 meter relay team finished in 21st place with a time of 4:10.36 at the Kentucky Invitational (1/15-16) ... Finished in ninth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.51 and ran in the distance medley relay which finished third with a time of 11:58.54 at the Virginia Tech Elite Invitational (2/5) ... Finished the 500 meters in fourth place with a time of 1:19.15 and the 800 meters in fourth place with a time of 2:17.39 at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/12-13). Outdoor: Earned first place in the 800 meter with a time of 2:14.08 at the Georgia Tech-Georgia Dual Meet (3/19) ... Finished sixth in the 800 meter run at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/26) in 2:14.60 ... Placed eighth in the 800 meter at the Tiger Track Classic (4/2) with a time of 2:14.51 ... Ran a season-best of 2:14.05 in the 800 meter at the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/15) ... At the Georgia Tech-Clemson-KSU Double Dual Meet (5/1), finished first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.73 ... Placed second in the Georgia Invitational (5/8) with a time of 2:15.94 in the 800 meter run ... Finished 32nd in the 800 meter with a time of 2:14.35 at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/14).
