Georgia Tech Track & Field Signs Three Women
All three signees hail from the state of Georgia
THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech women’s track & field program signed three women during the fall signing period, all from the state of Georgia.
Summer Hendley, a high jumper and long jumper who attends Savannah Christian Preparatory School and comes from Pooler, has been dominant in her high school career.
Women’s Coach Alan Drosky: “Summer is an exciting signee for our women’s track & field program. With three straight high jump state titles, and another state title in the long jump, she’s shown some great competitive instinct to be at her best when it counts the most. Our jumps coach, Nat Page, saw everything he likes in a high-level high jumper in Summer. She has the potential to be a very competitive jumper at the NCAA level and we look forward to helping her reach those heights.”

We saw her show some real mental toughness at the state meet, then afterwards to see her more excited about the team winning the state championship was inspiring.”
