2016 (Freshman): Played in 47 games, making 36 starts combined between designated hitter and the outfield … Hit .299 with seven home runs and 33 RBIs … Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 20 versus Western Michigan, going 1-for-2 with a run scored … Blasted a three-run home run against UMBC on Feb. 27 … Went 2-for-4 with a home run and a career-high four RBIs vs. Georgia State on March 1 … Went 3-for-6 at the plate versus Duke on April 3, including a home run and three RBIs … Had a two-RBI double at Mercer on April 5 … Hit a pair of three-run home runs against NC State on April 16 and April 17 … Recorded his first career triple at Georgia on April 26 … Tied a career high with four RBIs and added a home run vs. Coastal Carolina on April 29 … Went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Chanticleers on April 30 … Was 3-for-4 with two RBIs versus Boston College on May 19 … Went 2-for-3 with a triple in the second game of a May 21 doubleheader vs. Boston College … Named to the 2016 All-ACC Academic Team.
