As A Junior In 2011-12: Collected a career-best time in the 100 fly at the Virginia Tech Invitational, sprinting to the wall in 51.06 in the preliminaries, followed by a 51.09 to claim seventh overall in the finals… Was sixth in the 200 fly at the VT Invitational in a season-best 1:52.83 and was 11th in the 200 free with another season-best of 1:42.27… Finished 35th in the 500 free at the Georgia Tech Invitational in 4:40.73.
As A Sophomore In 2010-11: Netted a season best time in the 200 free, 500 free, and 200 fly at the Virginia Tech Invitational … Took home the 200 fly victory in his first shot at the event on the season with a time of 1:51.73 … Finished second in the 500 free with a time of 4:36.33 and earned a third place finish in the 200-Free with a time of 1:43.19 … Finished in 16:36.02 in the 1,650 free at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational.
As A Freshman In 2009-10: Finished 16th overall in the 1,650 free and 21st overall in the 500 free in his first career ACC Championship coming in with times of 15:39.19 and 4:30.72 respectively … Earned a third place showing in the 1,000 free setting a career best time of 9:53.45 vs. NC State … Took home fifth place in both the 500 and 1,000 free vs. Duke with times of 4:51.18 and 10:06.24 respectively.
