As A Junior In 2013-14: Posted Georgia Tech[apos]s second-fastest time of the season in the 500 free at the ACC Championship of 4:55.38, which was good for 24th-place overall… Also scored points in the 1,650 free at the ACC Championship with her her 21st-place showing in a season-best time of 17:10.31… Finished 28th at the ACC meet in the 200 back, recording a season-best time of 2:02.80 — Tech[apos]s second-fastest on the season… She placed 16th in the 400 IM at the Georgia Tech Invitational, clocking in a season-best time of 4:33.12.

As A Sophomore In 2012-13: Set career-best times in four individual events during her sophomore campaign on the Flats… Posted the third-fastest 1,650 free time in Tech history with her swim of 16:57.20 during the Georgia Tech Invitational.. Scored points at the ACC Championship with her 15th-place finish in the 400 IM (4:23.06) — a career-best time that moved her to second on Tech[apos]s all-time list.

As A Freshman In 2011-12: Was Tech[apos]s leader in the distance freestyle and the 400 IM as a rookie… Paced the Jackets in both the 1,000 free and 1,650 free, and was the team[apos]s second-fastest in the 500 free… Swam to an 18th-place finish in the 500 free at the ACC Championship with a season-best time of 4:54.08 (fifth on Tech[apos]s all-time list)… Was 19th in the 1,650 free at the ACC Championship in 17:01.51 (third all-time at Tech)… Was 19th in the 400 IM at the ACC Championship in a season-best time of 4:24.07, which ranks second on Tech[apos]s all-time list… Won both the 500 free and 1,000 free in the dual meet versus Liberty and North Dakota, putting down a 1,000 time of 10:07.52 to also rank second on Tech[apos]s all-time list.

Before Tech: Home Schooled … Attended the National Select Camp in 2007 … Was the Southern Zone record holder in the 400-Free in 2008 … A finalist at Junior Nationals in 2009 and 2011 … Swam for Sarasota YMCA Sharks under Steve Brown and Mark Matuszak … a finalist at Speedo Long Course Junior Nationals for three years and a finalist at NCSA Junior Nationals for six years.

Personal: Born Kathryn Alyson Woolbright on September 25, 1992 in Charlotte, N.C. … Parents are Guy and Diana Woolbright … Sister to Alex … Mother, Diana, was a swimmer at South Carolina … Chose Georgia Tech because of the academics, the team atmosphere and the coaching staff … Enjoys basketball and writing … Started swimming at the age of six … Most memorable swimming accomplishment was getting a trial cut in the 800 free at Juniors … Majoring in business administration.
