2015 (Redshirt Senior): Started at left guard in all 12 games … One of three Jackets named honorable mention All-ACC by ACSMA … Concluded career with 34 consecutive starts.
2014 (Redshirt Junior): Started all 14 games at left guard … Part of Tech’s offensive line that allowed just 0.79 sacks per game (1st in ACC, 2nd nationally) … Tech ranked first nationally in rushing offense, posting school-record marks for rushing yards (4,789) and rushing yards per game (342.1) … 2014-15 ACC Honor Roll.
2013 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 13 games and started final eight games of season … Moved into starting spot at left guard after left tackle Ray Beno went down with injury … Made career-first start at BYU (Oct. 12) … Instrumental part of offensive line that allowed just 1.08 sacks per game (1st in ACC, tied for ninth nationally) … Tech ranked first in ACC and sixth nationally in rushing offense.
2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in eight games … Was listed as top back-up at right guard for most of season … Part of offensive line that helped Yellow Jackets rank fourth nationally in rushing offense … 2012-13 ACC Honor Roll.
2011 (True Freshman): Redshirted, did not play … 2011-12 ACC Honor Roll.
High School: Leon HS … Earned all-state, all-district and all-area honors as senior … Coached at Leon High School by Bill Ragans … Recorded 66 tackles (24 solos) as senior … Added seven tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble … Earned four varsity letters in football … Played guard and tackle on offense, and tackle and end on defense … Also earned three letters in wrestling and two in track and field … Was ranked as No. 1 heavyweight wrestler in Florida and finished third in national AAU event … Posted 75-13 all-time record in wrestling.
