THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech swimming & diving team is back in the pool this week, hosting the GT Invitational at the Aquatic Center on campus. The three-day meet begins with preliminary action on Thursday at 10 a.m. and continues through Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets have had two weeks off since last competing, and a month since knocking off Florida State at the GT Aquatic Center. The Seminoles are back this week, along with Arkansas, Bowling Green, Campbell, Colorado State, Indian River, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Miami and Vanderbilt.
The 24th-ranked Georgia Tech men’s team is one of five ranked team in action, joining the seventh-ranked Florida men, the 11th-ranked Florida women and the 20th-ranked FSU men.
Teams from Auburn, Colorado State, Clemson, College of Charleston, South Carolina, Tulane and Utah will participate in only diving.

The Tech women are 5-5 overall (2-2 in ACC action), while the 24th-ranked Tech men are 5-3 (2-1 in ACC).
