2003: Developed into a very solid member of the Tech pitching staff, working both as a starter and in relief ... Made five starting assignments and had 13 relief appearances, working 50.1 innings ... Posted a 3-1 record and a 3.52 ERA in five starts ... Ranked fourth on the staff with 17 appearances, and fifth in innings pitched (50.1), starts (5), relief appearances (13), and strikeouts (40) ... Made the first start of his career against Campbell on 3/5, tossing a career-high six innings, allowing no runs on only three hits and striking out a career-high five to earn the win ... Earned his first save by pitching the final 3.2 innings against Kent State (3/15), allowing no runs and only one hit while striking out four ... Picked up his second win in as many starts by pitching the Saturday game of the series against Maryland (3/22), going six innings, allowing just two runs on six hits ... Improved to 3-1 against Georgia Southern, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out five ...
