2013
Platooned at catcher behind All-American Zane Evans and put up career numbers... Played in 32 games and made 17 starts... Hit .306 with four doubles, his first three career home runs and collected 15 RBI... His .306 average was fifth-best among starting players... Was 1-for-3 with an RBI and scored a career-best two runs in the 16-5 win over Georgia State on Feb. 19... Hit his first career home run -- a grand slam -- and was 3-for-4, scored twice and posted a career-best four RBI in the win over Savannah State on April 16... Had a productive night in the 9-2 win at Ohio State on May 7, going 3-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, two RBI and two runs -- also threw out an OSU steal attempt in the game... Was 2-for-4 versus Georgia on May 14 with a double and three RBI... Was 2-for-3 with a homer and scored twice in the regular-season finale at Miami on May 18 -- a 10-1 Tech win... Launched his first career postseason home run in the Nashville Regional against top-seeded Vanderbilt as two-run shot helped the Jackets pull away from the Commodores for a 5-0 win.

Saw action in 23 games and made nine starts at catcher... Hit .250 with four doubles and seven RBI... Solid defensive with just one error in 111 chances... Had a monster opening weekend by hitting .571 (4-for-7) with a double, four RBI and a stolen base... Scored the eventual winning run in the seventh inning of 5-3 win at Winthrop (2/18)... Had a career-best three hits and two RBI in that game... Matched his career-high of two RBI at NC State (3/10) thanks to an RBI single and a sac fly... Walked and scored in the Sunday game of the NC State series... Was 1-for-2 with a walk as the starting catcher at Georgia (3/20) -- hit his third career double... Was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI at No. 6 North Carolina (4/21)... Went 1-for-2 versus No. 1 Florida in the NCAA Gainesville Regional.
