THE FLATS – In an odd weekend that featured four hours of weather delays, the 25th-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets completed a series sweep Sunday with a 4-2 seven-inning win over No. 15 Coastal Carolina.

Georgia Tech (30-14) posted its first weekend series sweep since March 4-6 against Western Carolina. The Yellow Jackets handed Coastal Carolina (31-14) is first series sweep of the 2016 season.

Freshman Jake Lee (3-0) earned his third win of the season, pitching a career-best 6.0 innings. Fellow freshman Burton Dulaney secured his third save after pitching a scoreless inning of relief in the 7th.

• Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 18-7 and the Yellow Jackets improved to 16-5 all-time at home vs. the Chanticleers.
• Tech completed its first series sweep of the Chanticleers since 1995.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Coastal Carolina scored in the 1st on Zach Remillard’s RBI single to left for a 1-0 lead.
• Georgia Tech answered with two runs in the bottom of the 1st and two more in the 2nd. Carter Hall tied the game with an RBI double down the left field line that scored Connor Justus. Hall later scored on Kel Johnson’s RBI sac fly to right.
• Tech extended its lead to 4-1 in the 3rd. Arden Pabst scored Keenan Innis with an RBI double to left and Justus follow with an RBI single up the middle.
• Remillard plated Coastal Carolina’s second run with a solo home run to left in the 5th.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Four different Jackets batters recorded a hit – Connor Justus, Carter Hall, Keenan Innis and Arden Pabst. Four others recorded an RBI – Justus, Hall, Kel Johnson and Pabst.
Matt Gonzalez, Trevor Craport, Tristin English and Brandt Stallings each saw their hit streaks snapped on Sunday vs. Coastal Carolina.
• Freshman Jake Lee (3-0) earned his third win of the season, going a career-best 6.0 innings. Lee allowed two runs on five hits with three strikeouts.
Connor Justus (83 games) and Kel Johnson (37 games) each extended their career-best consecutive starts streaks on Sunday vs. Coastal Carolina.

UP NEXT
With final exams in full swing, Georgia Tech will not return to action until Saturday, May 7 – Monday, May 9, when the Yellow Jackets host the Miami Hurricanes.
