New group of walk-on players brings impressive credentials to Yellow Jacket program

The Yellow Jackets drove to the Dragon Sports Centre to conduct their first full practice in China, Sunday afternoon.
On their first full day in China, the Yellow Jackets went for a morning walk by West Lake in Hangzhou.
Monday saw the Yellow Jackets visit the campus of Alibaba, the largest e-commerce company in China.
Non-scholarship point guard who enrolled at Georgia Tech for the fall semester ... Has good basketball bloodlines and family lineage at Tech in the person of his uncle, Kenny Anderson, former Yellow Jacket All-American and NBA veteran ... Strong academic student who received offers from a number of mid-major programs such as Saint Louis, Tulane, Columbia and others.
Graduated from the Sports Leadership and Management Academy (SLAM), a charter school in Miami, for his last two years of high school, coached by Rodney Cunningham ... Attended South Miami High School and Coral Gables High School prior to that ... Played four seasons of basketball, and three seasons of tennis, altogether ... Earned all-conference honors as a senior at SLAM and helped Coral Gables High School to a state championship in 2013 ... Once scored 51 points with 15 assists and 15 rebounds in a game vs. ISCHS, and has a 20-assist game vs. Archbishop Curley, both while at SLAM ... Participated in the 2016 HoopMia All-Star game.
