Played his senior season at Shiloh High School in Snellville, Ga., for coach Kim Rivers, and earned first-team all-state honors in class AAAAA by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ... Averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds as the Generals went 19-3, made it out of the region 8AAAAA playoffs but lost in the second round of the state tournament to eventual champion Milton ... Earned second-team all-state honors as a junior at class AA Thomasville High School, where he averaged 20.3 points, 14 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game for coach Ben Tillman ... Helped the Bulldogs to three straight region 1-AA titles ... Ranked No. 33 nationally (6th among power forwards) in the Rivals150 prep player rankings in the class of 2012 ...
