One of the nation's top-rated prep big men out of high school who earned a spot in Tech's starting lineup from the beginning of his freshman season ... Has 12 double-digit rebound games in his career, five as a freshman and seven as a sophomore ... Scored in double digits 15 times as a sophomore, and 29 times in his career ... Started 44 straight games in his career, and had become one of the dominant interior players in the ACC before injuring his knee at Charlotte Dec. 29 last season.

Twice invited to participate in training camp for USA Basketball, last summer for the Under-19 team to prepare for the FIBA Americas U19 Championships in the summer of 2013 ... Participated in the USA U18 trials in the summer of 2012.
