Georgia Tech’s third full day in China was relatively light with study hall in the morning, followed by a one-hour transition to Shanghai on high-speed rail. The Jackets settled into their new hotel by the Bund District, ate dinner and had a film session in the evening.
After two full days of practice and the ride to Shanghai, the Yellow Jackets took part in a detailed film review of their exhibition game against Faulkner. Thursday’s schedule is a busy one, with another full practice in the morning followed by a visit by both Tech and UCLA to Shanghai Disney for the afternoon. One of the highlights of this week has been the bus rides themselves. Tour guides Tony in Hangzhou, and now John the “Snowman” in Shanghai, have kept the rides lively with jokes, entertainment, and sharing of Chinese stories and legends.
