Georgia Tech Overwhelms USC for 21-7 Sun Bowl Victory
Likely the fastest player on the roster... played primarily B-back the past two years, but may also get a look at A-back this fall... has potential to be a big-play threat... comes from the same high school as former Yellow Jacket Jerrard Tarrant... a good student who has made the Dean's List.
2014 (junior): Rushed five times for 39 yards, had one 33-yard reception and had a 26-yard kickoff return at North Carolina (Oct. 18) ...Returned one kickoff for 29 yards at Virginia Tech (Sept. 20) ...Returned two kickoffs for 39 yards, including a career-high 25 kick return and recorded one reception for two yards vs. Georgia Southern (Sept. 13, 2014) ...Rushed twice for 13 yards and returned one kickoff for 18 yards at Tulane (Sept. 6) ... Totaled 74 yards of offense, which included one carry for nine yards and a career-long reception for 65 yards against Wofford (Aug. 30).
2013-14 Track: Earned third-team All-ACC honors in the 60m at the ACC Indoor Championships... recorded four first-places finishes during the indoor season... took first place in both the 60m (6.71) and 200m (21.23) at the Vanderbilt Invitational... won the 60m (6.72) and finished as the runner-up in the 200m (21.38) at the Samford Multi and Invitational Indoor... finished 1st the 200m with a personal best 21.23 at the Cupid Classic... placed fifth in the 200m at the ACC Indoor Championships.
2013 (sophomore): Played in 12 games... rushed 24 times for 150 yards (6.2 ypa)... had two kickoff returns for 29 yards... carried eight times for 45 yards in the season opener vs. Elon (Aug. 31)... returned two kickoffs vs. Virginia Tech (Sept. 26)... had career highs for rushing attempts (9), rushing yards (69) and longest rush (27) vs. Alabama A&M (Nov. 23).
2012-13 Track: Joined the track and field team in January and soon after set a school record in the 60 meters (6.75) at the Auburn Invitational... one week later at a meet hosted by Kentucky, Snoddy won the 200 meters, beating out 40 other competitors... on Feb. 2 in South Bend, Ind., Snoddy finished first in the 60 with another school record (6.72)... broke the school record in the 60 for a third time, winning the Samford Invitational in 6.67... qualified for the NCAA Championships, where he finished 13th nationally in the 60... earned second team Indoor USTFCCA All-American honors ran a 10.3 100-meters in his first outdoor meet.
2012 (redshirt freshman): Played in 13 games as a back-up at B-back and on special teams... made nine tackles on special teams (eight solo tackles)... rushed 13 times for 50 yards and one touchdown... had one reception for 11 yards... carried six times for 13 yards and his first career touchdown vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... had three carries for 23 yards and an 11-yard reception in the win over Virginia (Sept. 15).
2011 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Carrollton HS... played for coach Rayvan Teague... rushed for 1,150 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior... rated as the 49th-best prospect in the state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution... named all-area in 2010... invited to play in the North-South Game... was a track star in high school... won the state 3A championship in the 100 (10.76) and the 200 (21.91)... made the academic honor roll.
Personal: Full name is Broderick Brett Snoddy... mother, Lynn... has two siblings -- Bernard and Krisha... born Jan. 3, 1993 in Carrollton, Ga... began playing football at age six... a business administration major.
