A top candidate to become a starter on the offensive line after serving as a key reserve and part-time starter in 2010... can play a number of positions on the line... an outstanding competitor... excelled on both sides of the ball in high school... one of the top performers in the weightroom (Squat 565; Power clean: 360).
2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 11 games and started three times at left guard... also served as a back-up to All-ACC center Sean Bedford... started vs. Virginia (Oct. 9), Miami (Nov. 13) and Duke (Nov. 20)... the Yellow Jackets rushed for an average of 368 yards in the three games that he started... helped pave the way for Tech leading the nation in rushing offense.

Cobb County Offensive Lineman of the Year... first team allregion... played in the Cobb Senior Bowl II... ranked #40 for his position by Scout, #84 by Rivals and #92 by ESPN... in 2008, started on both the offensive and defensive line along with deep-snapping responsibilities... recorded 67 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and six sacks... had an average grade of over 90-percent for his offensive line blocking... holds Kennesaw Mountain HS all-time record for tackles-for-loss and sacks... played for coach Scott Jones, earning four letters... also ran track and participated on the wrestling team for one season.
