High School: Hillgrove HS... earned three varsity letters and served one year as team captain for coach Phillip Ironside... played fullback as a sophomore and junior before moving to linebacker... a four-star recruit by Rivals... rated as the 17th-best prospect in the state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution... named to Marietta Daily Journal Elite Eleven... named all-county... was the Cobb County Defensive Player of the Year... first team all-state... set a school record with a 95-yard interception return... recorded 188 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions, two blocked extra points, three pass deflections, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries... holds a number of school weightlifting records.
