2012 (sophomore): Started 13 games... missed the Clemson game (Oct. 6) with an injury... ranked fourth on the team in total tackles (79)... recorded 3.5 tackles for loss including 2.0 sacks... registered two interceptions and one pass break-up... had 10 tackles, a half-tackle for loss and his third career interception in the win over Virginia (Sept. 15)... had 10 tackles vs. BYU (Oct. 27)... recorded a career-high 12 tackles including a tackle for loss at Maryland (Nov. 3)... named ACC Linebacker of the Week after getting two sacks in the win at North Carolina (Nov. 10)... had an interception in the Sun Bowl against Southern California (Dec. 31) -- the second straight year he had an INT in a bowl game.
2011 (redshirt freshman): Saw action in all 13 games at inside linebacker and started seven times... produced 52 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, three pass break-ups, two interceptions and one fumble recovery... came off the bench for two tackles and a fumble recovery in first career game -- Sept. 1 vs. Western Carolina... recorded six tackles the next week at Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 10)... recorded five solo tackles and his first career interception in a win over Maryland (Oct. 8)... had his first career double-digit tackle day with 10 tackles and a half-tackle for loss at Virginia (Oct. 15)... registered seven tackles (5 solos) and a tackle for loss at Duke (Nov. 19)... picked off a Utah pass and returned it untouched, 74 yards for a touchdown, in the Sun Bowl (Dec. 31).

All-State FSWA 5A Honorable Mention and All-Area Second Team LB... co-Defensive Player of the Year in Polk County... first team all-county... named 2010 Florida Varsity Top 100... as a senior in 2009, recorded 121 tackles (85 unassisted), 25 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, three pass break-ups, two interceptions, five sacks, two blocked punts and eight quarterback hurries... career stats: 354 tackles (234 unassisted), 66 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, six interceptions, 11 sacks, two blocked punts, one blocked field goal... 126 tackles, four sacks and two fumbles caused as a junior in 2008... played four seasons of football including two as team captain under coach William Castle... also played four seasons of basketball... led Lakeland High School to district championships in 2008 and 2009... the 2008 team was the state runner-up, the `09 team was a 5A state semifinalist.
