Enters 2014 as a leading candidate to start at nose tackle... coming off an injury-plagued season in which he became more productive as the season progressed... uses his speed and strength to his advantage... has played in 25 career games.

2014 (senior): Tallied a tackle and broke up a pass at Pitt (Oct. 25) ...Registered three tackles, including two solo, and one tackle for a loss of two yards, at North Carolina (Oct. 18) ...Had two solo tackles vs. Duke (Oct. 11) ...Recorded one solo tackle vs. Miami (Oct. 4) ...Tied his career-high four tackles and had one QB hurry at Virginia Tech (Sept. 20) ...Registered one tackle, including a sack for a loss of three yards, vs. Georgia Southern (Sept. 13) ...Recorded two solo tackles, including his first career sack for a loss of two yards, at Tulane (Sept. 6) ...
