A fifth-year senior who is one of the fastest players on the team... small in size, but has great ability to change direction... has big-play capability... one of several A-backs contending for a starting role... averages 5.2 yards per rushing attempt and 27.7 yards per reception... owns 874 career all-purpose yards... has played in 34 career games... very capable as a kick returner... a good student who has made the Dean's List.
2014 (senior): Carried twice for 11 yards vs. Georgia Southern (Sept. 13) ...During his homecoming to New Orleans, rushed for a career-high 62 yards and two touchdowns, which included a career-long 41-yard run, at Tulane (Sept. 6) ...Caught a career-high three passes for 70 yards and carried one time for 14 yards in the season opener against Wofford (Aug. 30).
2012 (sophomore): Played in all 14 games... had six offensive plays of 20 or more yards -- two by rushing, four receiving... rushed 31 times for 193 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and one touchdown... caught seven passes for 195 yards for a lofty average of 27.9 yards per reception... returned three kickoffs for 52 yards... carried four times for 49 yards, had a 40-yard pass reception and returned a kickoff 20 yards vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... rushed six times for a career-high 57 yards and a touchdown, caught two passes for 74 yards including one for 57 yards against Miami (Sept. 22)... had a 44-yard reception and rushed for 17 yards in the win over Boston College (Oct. 20).
2011 (redshirt freshman): Played in nine games and started at Middle Tennessee State... averaged 5.7 yards per carry on 15 rushing attempts... caught three passes for 104 yards (34.7 yards per catch) and one touchdown... had 392 all-purpose yards... had the second-most kickoff returns (9) on the team for an average of 22.4 yards per attempt... had one rushing attempt and caught a 19-yard pass in his first career game, vs. Western Carolina (Sept. 1)... made his first career start and caught a 73-yard touchdown pass on Tech's first offensive play of the game at Middle Tennessee State... finished with six carries for 47 yards and two receptions for 85 yards against the Blue Raiders... had two carries for 12 yards vs. Maryland (Oct. 8).
2010 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Deerfield Windsor Academy... produced staggering numbers at the Class AAA school in the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA)... ran wild in DWA's Wing-T offense... finished senior season with 244 carries for 2,264 yards - an average of 9.28 yards per carry - and had 27 rushing touchdowns... for his career, Zenon had 5,684 rushing yards on 650 carries and 65 TDs.
Personal: Born Sept. 2, 1991... originally from New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina forced him to move to Georgia... switched jersey numbers from 47 to 9 in August, 2011... is the sixth player with a last name beginning in Z to letter at Tech... majoring in management.
