A tall, athletic receiver with a great deal of potential... hoping to have a breakout season in 2013... is Tech's most experienced returning wide receiver... has, at times, been a force on special teams as a kick-block specialist... played as a true freshman in 2011.
2012 (sophomore): Played in all 14 games and started 10 times... started the final six games of the season when the Yellow Jackets went 4-2 down the stretch... had two receptions longer than 40 yards... recorded eight receptions for 162 yards (20.2 yards per reception)... made the first two receptions of his career in the game against Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 29)... caught two passes for 19 yards the following Saturday at Clemson (Oct. 6)... broke loose for a 68-yard reception in the win at North Carolina (Nov. 10)... had two receptions for 59 yards, including one catch for 42 yards, against Florida State in the ACC Championship Game (Dec. 1).
2011 (true freshman): Played in 12 games as a top reserve at wide receiver and as a blocked kick/punt specialist... had a forced fumble on special teams. High School: North Cobb HS... played for coach Shane Queen... a good student with a lofty high school GPA... earned three stars from both Rivals and Scout... earned three varsity letters and served two years as team captain... played wide receiver and defensive back... played on a regional championship team in 2007... named first team all-county and all-region, and second team all-state as a senior... invited to play in the Cobb Senior Bowl... had a 71-yard touchdown reception against Hillgrove... recorded 19 tackles as a junior against Cherokee... also played three seasons on the basketball team.
