Jackets Fall In NCAA Regional To South Alabama 10-1

Coming off of a 9-1 thrashing of Tennessee-Martin, the Georgia Tech softball team just didn't have enough to overtake South Alabama and fell to the Jaguars 10-1 in five innings in their second elimination game of the NCAA Tournament at Rhoads Stadium. Jackets Down UT-Martin 9-1 In NCAA Elimination Game

The Georgia Tech softball team blasted 11 hits en route to a 9-1 victory over Tennessee-Martin in the NCAA Second Round elimination game, keeping its postseason hopes alive. The Yellow Jackets (37-22) put together a six run top of the seventh to seal the victory. FULL STORY

Late Rally By South Alabama Hands Jackets First NCAA Tournament...

A two-run rally by South Alabama in the top of the seventh inning handed the Georgia Tech softball team its first loss of the Tuscaloosa Regional in the NCAA Tournament Friday at Rhoads Stadium.
